Unique-ARs Hand Guards show up once again!
We attended Idaho Heartlands annual fundraiser this past Saturday, held at the McCall RV Resort North Fork Lodge and boy was it a hoot! This magnificent venue hosted 150 folks supporting this nonpolitical, nonprofit. The event was sold out and packed wall to wall in the gorgeous venue. The excitement was accelerated with all the world class auction items that were available for bid. Idaho Heartland raised over $40,000 solely from the auction. We donated 4 Unique-AR handguards and they were so much of a favorite in the bidding wars we had to bring out a 5th. One of the favorite moments of the night was the winning bid of a beautiful bronze sculpture. After the winning bid of the sculpture “Men with Guns” was presented to the oldest Veteran in the room. There wasn’t a dry eye out there!
Idaho Heartland is Unique-ARs local Friends of the NRA. We support many chapters of Friends of NRA that is a grassroots fund-raising program that raises money and gives 100% of the net proceeds to qualified local and national programs. Idaho Heartland chooses to keep 100% of their proceeds local in the state of Idaho. Proceeds are divided between grants, scholarships, shooting sports sponsorships, and development and maintenance of a few shooting ranges through out Idaho. Plans for future discussions are in the works for a brand new gun range right here in our Valley County. The new range will be placed on state land in the Payette or Boise National Forest.
