Unique-ARs would like to announce we are sponsoring a friendly artist competition. We designed a limited edition of just 10 hand guards and numbered them 1-10. We call the design the Koi Fish. The hand guard is made of 60 61 T6 aluminum and milled with our CNC machines. The details of the cut are very intricate and took a lot of time to cut. This hand guard is going to be quite a challenge for the artists. We asked the artists to stick to a Cerakote medium for this specific challenge since it is so widely used in the industry and everyone has had experience with it.
There are thousands of great artists and we want to get their work out there but we could only choose 10 for this project. We chose these 10 great artists because we are a fan of their work and knew they will be able to transform this raw art piece into a magnificent accessory for somebody’s AR15. The artists are welcome to use as many Cerakote colors as they wish. We will be posting photos of the hand guards for our customers and fans to vote for their favorite artists masterpiece so stay tuned to get your vote in. The voting will take place in mid-August, just as soon as we receive the handguards back from the artists. The voting will take place on Unique-ARs’ Facebook Page.
Unique-ARs will be auctioning all 10 hand guards off on our website and you folks will have a chance to purchase these beauties. The proceeds from the hand guards will be donated to the winners choice of a Veteran related charity. The winner with the most votes will also be rewarded with their choice of a hand guard from our stock gallery on our website.
