The National Safety Council recently released a report regarding the likeliness of a person dying from (insert cause). In the report, it describes that unintentional firearms discharge continue to fall. From 2014 to 2015 fatal firearms accidents have dropped 17% with a total number of 489. This is ” the lowest total since record-keeping began in 1903″ (NSSF). This great news could be attributed to the constant push for firearm education and programs such as Project ChildSafe, which Unique-ARs is a huge proponent. The NSC estimates that your chances of being from an unintentional firearms discharge are 1 in 6,905, which is located in between deaths from pedacyclist incidents and air and space transport incidents.
