Memorial Day wasn’t widely observed until the May of 1868, after the Civil War had all but destroyed the United States. General John A. Logan was the founder of the first official Memorial Day, known previously as “Decoration Day”. The graves of over 20,000 Confederate & Union troops were decorated by participants. Now, 150 years later, we still take this day in May to acknowledge all that has been given for our country and our freedoms.

Unique-ARs would like to recognize all that have given their lives in the defense of our beautiful nation, and the families of these fallen soldiers.
